Shipping & Receiving/Counter Person

Duties

• Prepare and process outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling orders accurately
• Receive incoming stock, unload trucks using pallet jacks, and verify deliveries against purchase orders
• Load and unload freight efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
• Maintain organized storage of inventory on pallets or shelves, ensuring easy access for order picking and stock replenishment
• Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with stock replenishment to support warehouse distribution goals
• Ensure packaging meets quality standards for shipping, including proper labeling and secure packing techniques
• Collaborate with team members to improve workflow efficiency and support overall warehouse operations
• Work the front parts counter, supplying and ordering automotive parts for customers
• Answer phone calls and emails regarding automotive parts
