About the Role
As a Shipping Executive, you'll be responsible for managing and coordinating experts within the shipping industry. Daily tasks often include overseeing the loading and offloading of goods, managing shipment schedules, coordinating with customs and port authorities, and ensuring all operations comply with safety regulations. Shipping Executives collaborate with various parties, such as cargo owners, shipbrokers and insurance agents. They primarily work within shipping companies, logistics service providers and trade organisations.
