Shipping Admin

This role is highly administrative with occasional work on the warehouse floor to help quantify inventory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform administrative and clerical tasks related to storage, inventory accounts, and order picking.
  • Respond to incoming calls and emails, providing accurate information and support.
  • Trace shipments, process POD requests, schedule appointments, and enter pickup orders.
  • Ensure all emails are completed by end of day.
  • Send HFPU notifications and follow up on special shipment instructions.
  • Complete manual billing as required.
  • Communicate with other terminals as needed to resolve issues.
  • Assist with OS&D (Over, Short & Damaged) and coordinate warehouse returns or salvage; record notes in the system.
  • Manage challenging calls professionally at all times.
