Key Responsibilities

Receiving & Inventory

• Receive, inspect, and verify all food, beverage, and supply deliveries against purchase orders
• Check products for quality, freshness, proper temperature, and accurate quantities
• Reject damaged, expired, or substandard items and document discrepancies
• Rotate stock using FIFO (first in, first out) to minimize waste
• Organize dry storage, walk-in coolers, and freezers
• Communicate inventory levels and shortages to the kitchen manager

Cleaning & Sanitation

• Deep clean kitchen equipment, floors, walls, and storage areas
• Maintain cleanliness of back-of-house areas including dish pits, prep stations, and loading docks
• Empty trash and recycling; break down and dispose of cardboard and packaging
• Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper chemical handling and sanitation procedures
