Shift Manager Maintenance

Cleveland-Cliffs Steel has an immediate opportunity for Shift Manager Maintenance at our Middletown operation. The Shift Manager Maintenance is responsible for supervising and providing work direction to hourly union employees. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced work environment with complex operations. We have multiple openings in the plant.


Summary of Responsibilities
+ Supervise and direct hourly employees.
+ Assign manpower and equipment as necessary to repair and upgrade mill equipment.
+ Direct both planned preventative maintenance activities and work through equipment breakdown scenarios.
+ Implement the safety program’s goals to ensure a safe work environment.
+ Identify problem(s), gather the appropriate information, and analyze in an effective manner.
+ Other duties as assigned.
