Shift Engineer

BASIC FUNCTION

Maintains the property's mechanical and electrical equipment in optimal working condition by applying safety, preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance procedures as necessary

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implements in a timely manner the repair, maintenance and improvement requirements of structures, equipment and facilities within the Property during assigned shift.
• Submits recommendations to Maintenance Head for the improvement of maintenance efficiency and reduction of operating costs.
• Conducts periodic inspection of the Property during assigned shift and monitors work of contractual agency workers and other maintenance service contractors to ensure compliance with agreed upon service levels and that maintenance schedules and targets for the shift are met.
