About the Role
Position: Shift Engineer
Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester
Salary: £41,253.00
Shift Pattern: Rotating, Monday to Friday - 06:00 - 14:00/14:00 - 22:00
You will be responsible for repairing equipment breakdowns as quickly and effectively as possible to limit the impact on the site's production. Be proactive in continuous improvement and planned maintenance programs for all site equipment and processes. You will have a background in food production/FMCG.
Principal Tasks:
Identify and rectify as efficiently as possible any faults on the production process in line with current health and safety legislation. Notify the Factory Engineer of the anticipated downtimes, complete report sheets and record all breakdown details (on task sheets), including time to rectify fault.
Carry out planned routine maintenance tasks across the site and rectify any issues found, if time permits. Report any outstanding issues to Factory Engineer for an assessment of...
