Position Summary
Applications are invited from qualified individuals to instruct in the Human Services Social Services Diploma program at North Island College (NIC). The sessional instructional assignment, up to 20%, involves teaching the theory course HSW 136: Holistic Health and Well-Being to a cohort of SSW students using a blended delivery method at the Comox Valley campus.
The successful candidate will implement creative strategies in the preparation and delivery of theory course activities; use initiative in providing documentation and follow-up regarding student concerns and problem resolution; and bring facilitation skills to the management of conflict. The schedule for this assignment will be flexible to meet the needs of the program.
