About the Role
Cobalt is looking for a full time lube and service technician to work with their crew on various sites throughout the Yukon. Successful applicants will have experience servicing highway tractors and all brands of off highway equipment including but not limited to: John Deere, Caterpillar, Volvo and Hitachi.
Key Responsibilities
- Fuel, lube, and service heavy equipment, trucks, and small engines onsite
- Perform routine preventative maintenance, including fluid checks and top-ups
- Grease equipment and inspect for visible wear or leaks
- Maintain records of service and fueling activities
- Communicate with mechanics and supervisors regarding equipment status and any issues
- Operate service trucks and ensure proper storage and handling of fuels and lubricants
