Job Description

Under the direction of the Front of House Management Team, Server Assistants support servers by inspecting all tables for proper mise en place, cleanliness, and completeness. They practice a high level of floor awareness, possess comprehensive knowledge of all food and beverage items, help with food running, and monitor food quality to ensure presentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Answer questions about food, beverages, wine, and restaurant functions.
• Assist with food running, ensuring plates arrive at the correct guest.
• Monitor the cleanliness of the section and keep all materials and areas free from clutter.
• Communicate with Servers and Hosts to maximize seating.
• Practice a high level of floor awareness and maintain clear/clean conditions as required.
• Ensure condiments are pre‑portiond and refrigerators are stocked with milk, cream, butter, etc.
