About the Role
Role summary
Own development and optimization of a Windows-based image/video enhancement platform (originally power-savings focused), evolving it into an AI-enhanced video conferencing pipeline (Zoom/Teams/Meet-class scenarios). You'll build low-level + high-performance features on Intel CPU/GPU, ship OEM-ready integrations, and work directly with tier-1 PC makers.
Key responsibilities
Extend an existing image enhancement / power-optimized pipeline into AI-based enhancements for real-time video.
Implement and optimize features such as: low-light enhancement, denoise, sharpen, HDR/tonemap, face/skin enhancement, background segmentation/blur, auto-framing, artifact reduction, and camera pipeline stabilization.
Develop performance-critical code on Intel CPU/GPU (latency, thermals, battery impact).
Integrate with Windows imaging stacks (camera pipeline, media pipeline, driver/user-mode components as applicable).
Build SDK/APIs, reference apps, and OEM integration guide...
