Senior Systems Designer, Matchmaking
Epic Games is looking for a versatile Senior Systems Designer for Matchmaking systems in our first party experiences, including Battle Royale, Reload and other ecosystem modes.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement cross-platform matchmaking experiences that are native to each platform, emphasizing player journey value and fairness.
- Develop and validate ranking and skill experiences, including creating formulas, mathematical estimations, and prototypes with partner teams.
- Deliver and update world-class multiplayer experiences with a community‑first approach, ensuring player connection and safety through features like voice chat, parties, and multiplayer lobbies.
- Collaborate with UX/UI, programming, design, production, community, user research, analytics, business, marketing, and insights teams to design, validate, and iterate on online multiplayer systems.
