Contribute to the development and execution of Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) activities for software components and systems, ensuring compliance with automotive safety standards and regulations. Identify potential failure modes, assess their effects on system safety, and define mitigation strategies to eliminate or reduce associated risks, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project objectives. Ensure compliance with automotive safety standards, regulations, and guidelines, such as ISO 26262, IEC 61508, and SAE J3061, throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC), from requirements analysis to release documentation.
