Senior Structural Engineer

Our client is a well-established multidisciplinary engineering consulting firm serving clients throughout North America. They are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join their Hydro Structural Group in the planning and design of water resource infrastructure, hydroelectric projects, and heavy civil construction.

Role and Responsibilities

• Prepare and review civil/structural engineering designs and related documents.
• Technical work includes feasibility studies, engineering designs, preparation of construction drawings and specifications, and carrying out structural inspections primarily for rehabilitation and upgrades to water retaining structures, hydroelectric facilities, and new hydroelectric developments in Canada and the USA.
• Management of structural design on multi-discipline projects from proposal to completion, including budgets and schedules.
