Dewberry has an opportunity for an experienced structural (bridge) engineer to serve as a Senior Structural (Bridge) Project Manager within our transportation engineering business unit in Fairfax, Virginia. This position provides an excellent career opportunity for an enthusiastic and talented individual to work with a team of professionals located throughout Virginia and Maryland. The selected person will be responsible for leading and mentoring design teams that perform structural calculations, preparing design and contract documents (including reports, engineer’s estimates and construction specifications), reviewing shop drawings, scheduling bridge safety inspections, and providing technical support during construction. Projects include design and design-build projects that encompass new and replacement bridges, bridge widenings, bridge rehabilitation, and other transportation related structures.
