Senior Structural (Bridge) Engineer

Job Description

Dewberry is seeking a Senior Structural (Bridge) Engineer in our Fairfax, VA office to grow and strengthen our transportation design practice. The team player we seek must have a BS degree in Civil Engineering (with an emphasis on Structural Engineering) and 10+ years of experience delivering structural and bridge projects for VDOT, MSHA, and/or other state and local agencies. Understanding of the current state of practice for design-build projects preferred. The successful candidate will design simple and complex bridges (primarily of steel and concrete construction) and a variety of transportation related structures (retaining walls, culverts, sign structures and other ancillary structures). Bridge design work encompasses new and replacement bridges, bridge widening, and bridge rehabilitation.
