About the Role

Our valued client is looking for a Senior SQL Server Database Administrator (10+ years) to configure and maintain database servers and processes in the public sector.
12 month contract, remote
Responsibilities:
Configure and maintain SQL-Server database servers and processes
Monitor Client system's health and performance
Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement
Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours
Maintain data integrity and security (manage roles and permissions of database users).
Develop strategies and implement solutions for managing back-ups, restoration and replication & create, manage constraints and indexes.
Support software developers with database operations including the development of complex SQL, tuning of DML and the creation of stored procedures.
Create detailed documentation including diagrams of database infrastructure.
