About the Role

What You'll Do 
 : SimpliSafe is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Software Engineer in Test. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementation of test automation to ensure the quality of API infrastructure powering our home security platform and Mobile app used by the end user. The ideal candidate will have extensive programming skills in Python, experience in automation frameworks Primary responsibilities include: Engage in cross-functional collaboration with software development teams, manual Quality Assurance (QA) personnel, and key stakeholders to ascertain and enhance the overall quality. 
Design and implement automated test scripts using Python to augment testing capabilities and coverage, thereby mitigating risk and enhancing system reliability. 
Architect, cultivate, and augment specialized test frameworks and testing environments tailored to the unique requirements of API systems.
