Senior Software Engineer - GIS
Location: Horten or Trondheim, Norway

What You'll Do
- Design and develop GIS and 3D modelling tools used in advanced simulation environments.
- Architect clean, scalable solutions in Python and C#.
- Collaborate closely with UX designers, simulation specialists, and 3D artists.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to a strong engineering culture.
- Continuously improve workflows, documentation, and CI/CD practices.
What We're Looking For
- Strong Python skills for tooling and automation.
- Hands-on experience with GIS software such as QGIS or ArcGIS.
- Knowledge of PostGIS and spatial data management.
- Familiarity with Blender for 3D asset processing.
- Solid understanding of coordinate systems, vector and raster data, and terrain processing.
