The Analytics Platform group is responsible for the core data and analytics services that provide a single point of entry for Bloomberg Terminal and Enterprise applications to access all types of Bloomberg data. Our systems serve hundreds of billions of requests per day and operate across thousands of machines. With the rapid growth of Bloomberg’s Enterprise products and increasing data volume, our infrastructure continues to expand at an exceptional pace.
The Data Gateway is the backbone of the Bloomberg application stack. It is widely used across the company and handles 600+ billion requests daily. As demand increases, we are re-architecting major components of this system to support future scalability, reliability, and performance needs.
