Senior Site Reliability Engineer - Database Services

Location Canada, BC or ON. This is a remote position; you may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office.

Overview Senior Site Reliability Engineer for the Database Infrastructure team. Design, develop, and deploy automated solutions for production database infrastructure (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Cassandra). Build software that ensures reliability, scalability, and performance of databases for corporate applications and customer hosting services.

Responsibilities

Design and develop automation tools and services in Golang to streamline database operations.

Build and maintain REST APIs and microservices to support automation.

Develop custom software solutions and internal tooling for database management at scale.

Engineer CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation using infrastructure as code.

Create and maintain automation scripts in Golang and Bash for database operations, upgrades, and configuration.
