About the Role
Job Purpose:
To lead the design, planning, and supervision of road and highway projects, ensuring technical accuracy, compliance with standards, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design of road and highway projects (urban, rural, expressways).
- Prepare and review geometric design, pavement structures, signage, drainage, and traffic plans.
- Oversee technical reports, BoQs, specifications, and tender documents.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (transport, structures, utilities, environment).
- Supervise site works or review contractor submissions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with local and international standards (AASHTO, IRC, etc.).
- Provide mentoring to junior engineers and CAD technicians.
- Interface with clients, authorities, and stakeholders.
