About the Role
I. ROLE PURPOSE
The Senior Production Planner is responsible for creating, monitoring, and adjusting production schedules to ensure manufacturing processes run smoothly and efficiently. In the F&B sector, this role focuses on balancing inventory levels with customer demand while minimizing waste and ensuring food safety standards.
II. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Production Scheduling & Capacity Optimization Develop and maintain production timelines to align manufacturing output with market needs.
- Develop weekly and daily production plans based on sales forecasts, inventory levels, and plant capacity.
- Evaluate machine and labor availability to optimize production lines and minimize downtime.
Adjust schedules on the fly in response to equipment breakdowns, ingredient shortages, or urgent order changes.
