Department Overview

As a senior product manager for Rakuten Ichiba, Japan’s one of the largest internet shopping malls, you will be responsible for propelling product development for sustainable growth of the product to

- provide entertainment of shopping for shoppers in Rakuten Ichiba
- empower merchants in Rakuten Ichiba
This includes continuous discussion with planning department, creative department to improve the product.

Specifically, you will lead large-scale projects aimed at evolving and improving the overall marketplace. This includes defining project requirements, setting KPIs, creating external communication plans, and release strategies. You will also coordinate multiple development teams by overseeing and uniting Product Development Managers (PDMs) to ensure the success of the project.
