Aeva is building the next generation of sensing and perception for autonomous vehicles and beyond. With its unique ability to measure instantaneous velocity for each pixel, long-range performance at high resolutions, while being free from LiDAR or sunlight interference, Aeva’s 4D LiDAR is built from the ground up at silicon photonics scale for mass-market applications.We are looking for an expert in photonics characterization to join our core engineering team!Responsible for the characterization of novel optical, electrical, and electro-optical photonic devices and circuits. Strong expertise in understanding, adding to and developing test software Define test plan for devices and circuits and develop new tests Work cross-functionally to transfer tests to production Perform wafer-level and die-level probing using DC and RF probe stations Develop and maintain automated test setups using Python, MATLAB
