Senior Payload Engineer/Architect

Overview

The Senior Payload Engineer/Architect will mainly be focusing on our SiltaSat Project. We are looking at providing the same capabilities of a traditional GEO communications satellite in a smaller, more affordable, quicker to space offering. This role is based in our headquarters in Helsinki.

This person will join a team of experienced experts who are all contributing to the evolution of Small Satcom. They will work in the end to end system, across the full project life-cycle from development and design through to AIT.

The end objective of Small Satcom is to enable communications, so this role is really important to the success of the projects. Therefore we are looking for someone with extensive experience in radio frequency and optical engineering (digital capabilities would be a big plus), working at both board and system level on communications payloads.
