About the Role
About the company/role: Our client is an Australian medical device company specialising in infection prevention. They are looking for a Senior Test Systems Technician to join them on a 6-month contract (option to extend into 2027) to assist with the assembly, wiring, testing and commissioning to improve custom built equipment while supporting upgrades and ongoing system performance.
Duties:
- Hands-on electrical and mechanical assembly using hand and power tools
- Building and wiring systems from schematics and drawings, knowing what to connect, how to connect it, and why
- Preparing wiring harnesses, circuit boards and hand soldering as required
- Creating, updating and interpreting wiring schematics and drawings using AutoCAD Electrical
