Senior Mechanical Engineer (Burnaby)

Job Description

AECOM’s Water Group is seeking a motivated and skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to design and lead water infrastructure projects including wastewater, water, pump stations and industrial facilities.

This position is based in Burnaby, British Columbia with hybrid work options. Some travel to nearby cities may be required.

Major Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical building projects through design, construction, and commissioning phases.
• Prepare design reports, technical memorandums, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Develop design concepts, detailed designs, and coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Design HVAC systems, including centralized plants, packaged units, and hydronic systems.
• Design plumbing systems, including potable water, drainage, compressed air, and natural gas systems.
