Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to deliver high-level design and simulation support for Australian industrial projects. This role is focused on end-to-end mechanical design of heavy machinery, earth-moving equipment, and pressure vessels, with an emphasis on accuracy and compliance. Unlike a standard drafting position, the candidate will perform their own calculations and FEA validation to ensure first-draft designs are 95% correct, minimizing revisions and improving margins.
