Data Protection Tower Lead

Role Purpose

Ensure data classification, encryption, backup, and loss prevention policies are implemented and operationalized across the environment in alignment with Saudi regulations and organizational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Lead implementation of data loss prevention (DLP) and encryption solutions.

Oversee data backup, recovery, and retention strategies.

Drive data classification and tagging per defined schema.

Ensure compliance with data sovereignty and handling policies.

Monitor for data exfiltration attempts and policy violations.

Requirements

8+ years in data security roles.

Experience with Microsoft Purview, Symantec DLP, Veeam/Commvault.

Knowledge of NDMO, PDPL, and local data protection laws.

Certifications: CIPP, CISA, or equivalent preferred.
