Position Description
This position leads large team of experienced Procurement professionals or team leaders, overseeing RFPs, negotiation strategy, cost accountability, and/or program execution. Develops programs for effective vendor selection and management to minimize the organization’s purchasing costs without compromising quality or reliability of supply. Directs resolution of client issues or problems.
Primary Responsibilities:
Manages execution of processes, standards, and operational plans in support of Procurement goals, including RFPs, negotiations, cost accountability, and / or program execution.
Responds to critical client issues and problems.
Monitors suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries to ensure resolution of problems such as shortages and missed or late deliveries.
