Senior Manager / Manager, HNW Underwriting

Position Responsibilities:

+ Reporting to Senior Director of HNW Underwriting to deliver excellency in HNW Underwriting operations.
+ Manage all aspects of underwriting process (medical, financial, compliance and regulatory assessment) within your delegated authority and service level agreements.
+ Select and classify risks according to company philosophy, standards and risk framework.
+ Maintain underwriting consistency in line with internal underwriting guidelines.
+ Contribute to the continuing training and development of more junior underwriters.
+ Ability to adapt to changing underwriting philosophy and apply new approaches.
+ Strong independent problem solving ability including research and presentation of potential solutions.
+ Communicate and collaborate with the field and head office colleagues to provide the highest quality and service levels to customers.
+ Maintain positive and effective relationships with internal and external partners.
