About the Role
'1) In-depth knowledge of gear manufacturing processes: hobbing, shaping, grinding, honing, and shaving.
2) Understanding of heat treatment processes (carburizing, nitriding, induction hardening) and their impact on gear performance and distortion.
3) Ability to specify and interpret gear inspection reports. Familiarity with gear metrology equipment (coordinate measuring machines - CMMs, gear analyzers, profilometers).
