Senior Instrumentation & Controls Engineer- Water

Stantec is seeking a Senior Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to join our team in Calgary, AB, Canada. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and supporting control systems for water and wastewater treatment projects.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Develop preliminary scope definitions, budgets, and staffing plans.
• Field review and evaluation of existing equipment, control systems (hardware and software) and control panels.
• Prepare studies, conceptual reports, and technical memorandums.
• Conduct I&C engineering and analyses related to water, wastewater, and industrial waste treatment facilities.
• Support multidisciplinary teams with engineering design projects and studies.
• Develop construction documents (drawings, specifications, and schedules) including:
  • Database driven Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID's)
