Purpose of Role:
Aids in the execution of Hudbay’s exploration activities to create value through increasing reserves and resources of the company.
Role Accountabilities:
Contribute, as part of the corporate exploration team, to technical projects with geological aspects(e.g. geological modelling, database validation, project evaluation etc.).Ensure best technical practices are introduced or continued for use on our exploration projects.Provide geological review (modelling, exploration upside, red flags etc.…) in project evaluations, M&A targets or inhouse projects. Communicate progress of technical work to the immediate team on a regular basis.
