Senior FEA Engineer (Finite Elements)

Perform Finite Element analyses to support design and validation decisions, with clear and traceable reports. Includes conventional structural analyses and simulations of short events (e.g., shock/impact and fast transient loads). Responsibilities: Execute structural FEA analyses (stresses, strains, stiffness, and safety factor), including contact and nonlinearities when necessary. Perform stability (buckling) and vibration/modal assessments when applicable. Conduct simulations of short-duration events (explicit dynamics/fast transient), such as shock/impact and transient mechanical effects, including cases related to fragmentation/detonation. Define and record assumptions: load cases, boundary conditions, materials, and acceptance criteria. Prepare model and mesh, verify quality and consistency of results.
