Senior Engineer for Ventilation Projects

Join Gold Fields as a Senior Project Engineer focusing on ventilation systems for the Windfall Project in northern Québec. You'll play a crucial role in engineering oversight and system implementation.
Reporting directly to the Area Manager - Mine, your primary responsibility will include providing technical leadership for the ventilation engineering scope and Ventilation on Demand (VOD) system. You'll coordinate procurement activities, ensure compliance, and participate in critical commissioning processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and review ventilation engineering deliverables
• Oversee ventilation procurement packages and tracking
• Develop and implement VOD control philosophy
• Lead commissioning of ventilation and VOD systems
• Support junior engineers with mentorship and training
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering fields
• 5 to 10 years of underground ventilation experience
