Role Overview Reporting functionally to the Director of Engineering and operationally to the Engineering Manager, the electrical engineer’s key accountability is to create value and address and mitigate risks associated with their areas of responsibility. This includes scope development for specialized contracts and assistance with scope development for engineering and construction contracts; input into proposal or bid evaluation for contracts within area of responsibility, oversight of discipline engineering from engineering consultants, change management and quality and risk management. A critical success factor is ensuring electrical engineering deliverables are checked for technical quality, and coordination between other disciplines, including permitting, procurement and construction management is properly executed.
