Senior Electrical Technologist

MatchBox Consulting Group is on the hunt for a Senior Electrical Technologist. The successful candidate will contribute to project delivery, mentor junior staff, and eventually take on project leadership and team direction responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design electrical building systems (lighting, power distribution, life safety, communications, etc.)
• Develop and review construction documentation using Revit and AutoCAD
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure drawing accuracy and completeness
• Support project management, quality assurance, and client communications
• Participate in proposals, resource planning, and technical reviews

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology
• 10+ years of relevant experience in building electrical design
• Strong knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code and National Building Codes
