Senior Electrical Engineer

Location: Cardiff

This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading engineering business during a period of continued growth as they support the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Renewable Energy and Nuclear sectors. Our client will consider applicants for either a staff or contract position - for a contractor the role will be outside IR35.

Role & Responsibilities

• Undertake design and checking of deliverables according to discipline and area of expertise.
• Checking the quality of subcontractor design work to ensure compliance with agreed client design specifications.
• Preparation and checking of deliverables including drawings, schedules, datasheets, specifications, (input to control philosophies and narratives if applicable).
• Must understand wiring diagrams, control logic diagrams, system descriptions, system calculations, 1-line and 3-line AC drawings, AC & DC schematics, and be able to size equipment and perform cable sizing calcul...
