Senior Electrical Engineer – Load Electrification, DERs & Utility Interconnections

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering work following AtkinsRéalis/Candu Energy procedures and QA programs, and applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate and interface with client(s), suppliers, stakeholders and other design disciplines to execute assigned engineering work.
• Become involved in conceptual, preliminary and/or detailed design phases to support CANDU and other nuclear electrical systems and modifications.
• Prepare technical documents, including engineering drawings (GAs, DDs, EDs), change paper markups, calculations, design/analysis reports, design requirements, design manuals, bill of materials, design specifications, technical specifications, component specification sheets, commissioning specifications, etc.
• Participate in review of interfacing discipline's documentation.
