Administration, maintenance and optimization of MS SQL Server environments (2012 R2–2022) including performance tuning and capacity planningDesign, implementation and management of high availability and disaster recovery solutions, such as Always On Availability Groups, Failover Clustering, Replication and Log ShippingMonitoring and troubleshooting database performance using DMVs, Query Store, Execution Plans, SQL Server Profiler and Extended EventsDevelopment and maintenance of T-SQL scripts, stored procedures and SQL Agent jobs to support automation, scheduling and maintenance activitiesImplementation and enforcement of database security mechanisms, including encryption, access control, auditing and compliance requirements (e.g. PCI DSS)Collaboration with infrastructure and application teams on Windows Server administration, virtualization environments and database-related incidents
