We’re currently partnering with a large, complex enterprise environment to engage an experienced Oracle Database Administrator with strong Unix/Linux expertise. This role supports mission-critical platforms and offers the opportunity to work within a highly technical, operationally mature environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, support and optimise Oracle databases in enterprise environments
- Perform database installation, configuration, patching, upgrades and performance tuning
- Support high availability and disaster recovery solutions (e.g. RAC, Data Guard)
- Manage and support Unix/Linux operating systems underpinning database platforms
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot incidents and perform root cause analysis
