Senior Data Scientist NLP

About the Role

As a senior data scientist, you will join RDP’s Concept Domain a cross-functional team focused on accurately identifying key terminology and topics discussed in academic research. Your responsibilities include the improvement of existing systems and the development of novel state-of-the-art concept annotation and classification capabilities to power Elsevier’s products. Importantly, as data quality is vital to the success of our products, there is a strong focus on identifying and pursuing opportunities to improve data quality and coverage. Given that large volumes of data are involved, you get to contribute to the architecture of our systems and help to make it better scalable and resilient. We tackle some of the hardest data science challenges to solve pressing customer needs and we are looking for a talented, enthusiastic, and collaborative colleague to join our ranks.
