Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Platform Engineer to design, develop, and maintain a modern, cloud-based data platform on Microsoft Azure for a large-scale financial services environment, supporting critical data workloads for the Swiss Stock Exchange. The role involves leading legacy-to-cloud migrations, driving data transformation initiatives, and collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams in an agile setup.

Required Skills & Experience

• 12+ years of experience in building and maintaining data pipelines on public cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure preferred) or Big Data platforms such as Hadoop / Cloudera

• Strong expertise in relational databases and advanced SQL
