Key Responsibilities
Architectural Design: Lead the design of conceptual, logical, and physical data models for large-scale relational and non-relational databases.
Standardization: Establish and enforce data modeling standards, best practices, and naming conventions across the organization.
Data Warehousing: Design robust Data Warehouse (DW) structures using Star and Snowflake schemas to support Business Intelligence (BI) initiatives.
ETL Collaboration: Partner with Data Engineers to define source-to-target mappings and ensure ETL processes align with the intended data architecture.
Metadata Management: Maintain a centralized metadata repository to ensure data lineage, definitions, and business rules are transparent and accessible.
Performance Tuning: Optimize database performance through efficient indexing, partitioning strategies, and schema refinements.
