About the Role

 ROLE: SENIOR DATA ENGINEER
TORONTO - HYBRID - FULLTIME
Primary Skills: Azure Cloud PaaS Services, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, ADLS, ETL tooling and orchestration ( NiFi, Griffin, Hamilton, Airflow), Git hub, Docker, DevOps CI/CD, NoSQL databases-Cassandra, MongoDB, Kubernetes
Secondary Skills: Java, SQL, Python for scripting and ETL (libraries like pandas, , PySpark, ibis)
JD:

- years of experience in data engineering, data analytics, or backend development

Experience with Databricks, Azure Cloud PaaS Services, Azure Data Factory, ADLS, Kubernetes, GitHub, Docker, and CI/CD workflows

Strong expertise in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Jupyter) and/or JVM languages (Scala/Java)

Knowledge of capital markets, including familiarity with asset classes such as Fixed Income, FX, or Derivatives

Experience building large-scale, reliable data pipelines and distributed systems
