About the Role

Duration: 6 Months to start (high possibility of extension)
Location: Remote (EST Hours Preferred)
Our client is building a modern enterprise data platform and is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to help design, build, and mature a Snowflake-based data platform hosted on AWS.
This role will focus on establishing the core data engineering and infrastructure foundation in a green environment, enabling reliable data ingestion, transformation, observability, and scalability to support downstream analytics and AI initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Design and build a modern enterprise data platform using Snowflake on AWS
Develop and maintain data ingestion (API, Batch, Streaming and CDC) and transformation pipelines using DBT
Build and maintain canonical data models with focus on optimization of data structures based on consumption patterns
Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
