About the Role
Join our team as a Senior Upstream Data & Applications Developer in downtown Calgary. This 100% onsite position focuses on automation and data visualization in oil and gas.
We're seeking a proactive developer with advanced technical skills for a 12-month contract role. You will use your expertise in building and deploying solutions for land and well data analytics. Collaborating with various stakeholders, you will ensure operational efficiency and the delivery of high-quality results in our applications environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build and implement system and data automation initiatives
• Support and maintain upstream Land and Well applications
• Optimize applications like WellView, Siteview, and StackDx
• Develop data visualization solutions using Power BI and Spotfire
• Document technical requirements and solution designs
Requirements:
• Minimum 10 years of oil and gas experience
• Relevant degree in computer science or business analysis
