Context

The Migrant Protection, Return and Reintegration Programme for Sub-Saharan Africa (MPRR-SSA) is a regional initiative funded by the European Union and implemented by IOM across 16 countries. It aims to contribute to the protection of vulnerable and stranded migrantsincluding through assisted voluntary returnand to their sustainable reintegration within Sub-Saharan Africa.

The MPRR-SSA provides holistic, migrant-centered services across the return and reintegration continuum, including direct assistance in transit, post-arrival support, and tailored reintegration assistance.
